「京の箸紙」と「ヘギ入り箸紙」

古来より京の町で使用されるお正月の箸紙は、市販されている

一般的（関東風）な箸紙と異なります。

関東の習慣では、お箸を箸紙の上部から差し入れます。
これに対して京では、お箸を箸紙の下部からお箸を差し入れます。
水引がある方が神様がお使いになるとの謂れがあります。
Chopsticks are inserted from the upper part on chopsticks paper in a custom in Kanto area.

On the other hand, at kyoto, chopsticks are inserted from the bottom on chopsticks paper.

古くより京の町では、お正月祝いに用いる箸紙に「ヘギ」が
入れられています。
京では、祝い箸を松の内の間使用します。
雑煮や煮しめなどを食べた後、ヘギで箸の汚れが箸紙につかないようにする為の
先人の知恵なのです。

"HEGI" is kept in the chopsticks paper used for a celebration at New Year's at kyoto since the old days.

Congratulatory chopsticks are used by January 7 at Kyoto.

To make sure that the chopsticks won't get dirty on chopsticks paper in HEGI after eating soup containing rice cakes and nishime,

it is  wisdom of ancestor.
当社は、古くからの慣わしで使い続けている「京の祝箸（祝い箸」だからこそ、
材料から製作まで全て日本製であるべきだと考え、
日本の材料を使い、日本人が日本で作成した「京の祝箸ヘギ入り五膳」を作りました。
Because our company is the  (congratulatory chopsticks in Kyoto, I keep using by a custom from the old days.

I think everything should be made in Japan from the material.

We made  five tables of congratulating chopsticks with HEGI in Kyoto made in Japan using  Japanese material.
同じような商品を海外で作れば、はるかに安く出来上がるのですが、
それでは折角の先人達の知恵が詰まった京の文化でもある
「京の祝箸ヘギ入り」を再現できたとは言えないと考えています。
When making similar goods overseas, it's quite inexpensive.

I think  it can't be said that congratulating chopsticks with HEGI in could be reproduced.
是非、一年の歳時記で一番重要なハレの日こそ、全て日本製の

「京の祝箸ヘギ入り五膳」で祝の膳を神様と一緒に頂いてください。
