京の祝い箸から江戸の祝い箸迄品揃え

伊勢神宮の天照大御神（あまてらすおおみかみ）は、皇室の御祖神（ごそしん）であり、
民族の祖神（おやがみ）であります。

外宮の豊受大御神（とようけおおみかみ）は、天照大御神の食事を司るとともに
日本人の主食である米とともに衣食住を恵み与えてくださる神様です。

天照大御神にお供えする食事は、「日別朝夕大御饌祭（ひごとあさゆうおおみけさい）」が、
これまで千五百年間も行われています。

The meal offerred at Amaterasu Omikami, as "Higotoasayuuoomike feast.

It's also performed for one thousand five hundred years up to now.

お供えする神饌（しんせん）は、ご飯、お塩、水、鰹節、鯛（夏場は干物）、昆布、
荒布、海草、季節の野菜、果物、お酒、など神饌を供える時に御箸（みはし）が御箸台に
載せて神前に供えられます。

The ingredients offerred are  rice, salt, water, dried bonito, red snapper (in summertime, dried fish) and seaweed.

人が手で食べていた時代から神様に供える祭器としてお箸は使われていました。

素材は、神の依代（よりしろ）とされる柳、杉、檜、榊等です。

一般的な祝い箸（祝箸）には、2種あります。

There are 2 kinds of  congratulatory chopsticks,generally.


水引がある箸紙と水引が無い箸紙の祝箸です。
どちらも関東風の祝箸を箸紙の上から差し込むﾀｲﾌﾟです。

One is wrapping paper with red and white strings , the other is wrapping paper without them. Both is the type to insert them on the top of wrapping paper.
